UPDATE - November 9, 2017: We are excited to announce that we acquired the Best Buy building at Surrey Place Mall for our temporary location while we rebuild the main store. The Hockey Shop Outlet Store will have a warehouse style shopping experience with massive deals on product that survived the fire, and new products that will be constantly arriving. We hope to open our doors to the public late November. We are working as fast as possible to renovate and pass all city permits required to open. Our sharpening machines will be running full tilt as soon as we open the doors and we extended existing sharpening passes by 3 months. Stay tuned to our social media accounts as we will keep it up to date on exciting Fire Sale deals and opening dates. Please keep in mind that our Fire Sale is only at our retail outlet, the prices are so crazy that it would probably break the internet. Perfect time for a road trip!

Online Sales: All our efforts are getting the Outlet Store renovated and organizing and receiving that massive amount of products that are coming in. As soon as we can get our shipping department functional and fulfill orders, we will flip the switch on the site to begin selling again. We are aiming for Black Friday but will depend how the next couple weeks go. Stay tuned to our social media accounts for updates.

UPDATE - October 16, 2017: Sharpening season passes will be extended for the duration of our downtime as well we are extending them an extra month. There isn't a firm re-opening date yet but we are close to securing a temporary location and getting back in operation. Stay tuned and will see you soon!

UPDATE - October 2, 2017: It has been an exhausting week as we work through the enormity of the post-fire situation and explore the options and hurdles to get back in operation as soon as possible. We thank all our customers and suppliers for their tremendous support and understanding during this difficult period.

Over the past week, many of you have reached out to us regarding warranties, custom orders, returns or other specific situations and we encourage all of our customers requiring assistance to contact and our team will do the best we can to address your concerns as quickly as possible.

While the grand opening of a new store will likely happen in the new year, we are working hard to secure a temporary location so that we can re-open locally and be able to fulfill and process online orders.

We are also trying to get our sharpening technicians operating in a temporary facility as so many of you rely exclusively on us to keep your blades sharp.

UPDATE - September 25, 2017: We would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support we have received over the past few days. To ease the minds of those concerned, we can confirm that no injuries occurred during the fire at our store on Saturday, September 23rd.

At this time the extent of the damage is unknown. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
